Student Nurses’ Association (SNA) activities in our campus promote the overall professional, personal, and leadership development of student nurses through various programmes such as sports events, cultural activities, talent shows, intercollegiate competitions, community outreach services, health awareness campaigns, medical camps, national health day celebrations, fundraising, and charity events. Ragging a social menace as a such has no place in academic environment of the institute and concerted efforts are required to be in place to prevent its occurrence at any point of time, students will be punished as per INC guidelines it they involve in ragging of students.
A student including in ragging can be:
1.Cancellation of admission
2.Suspension from attending classes
3.Withholding/ withdrawing scholarship/fellowship and other benefits
4.Debarring from appearing in any test/ examination or other evaluation process.
5.Withholding results
6.Debarring from representing the institution in any regional national or international meet, tournament or youth festival etc.
7.Collective punishment: When the persons committing or abetting the crime of ragging are not identified the institution shall resort to collective punishment as a deterrent to ensure community pressure on potential ragger.
The Anti-Ragging Committee ensures a safe and disciplined environment in the institution by preventing ragging activities. It creates awareness among students, monitors student behaviour, addresses complaints, and promotes respect, dignity, and harmony within the campus.
